An FIR has been lodged against KSCA management and canteen manager at Kuban Park police station. The complaint was filed by 23-year-old Chaitanya, who was watching the match at the stadium from the Qatar Airways Fan Terrace stand with his friend Gautam. Chaitanya had food from the canteen present in the stands during the match. He eats ghee rice, idli, chana masala, cutlets, raita and dry jam. Chaitanya felt stomach ache after some time of eating.

After that Chaitanya sat down. He was given first aid in an ambulance outside the stadium with the help of stadium staff. After he was admitted to a private hospital, the doctor examined Chaitanya and confirmed that he was suffering from food poisoning. It is alleged that the food served in the canteen was the cause of Chaitanya’s illness.
