For which a complete plan has also been prepared, which will be completed by Auli Development Authority at Ground 0.

In fact, Auli in Chamoli district has always attracted tourists not only from the country but also from abroad to the hill for skiing, in view of which the government has made a plan for the special development of Auli. And under this a master plan has also been prepared.

For this, the government has decided to plan a skiing destination for Auli and form an authority to implement it. This authority has been created under the Department of Tourism. Special Tourism Development Areas are declared by the State Government under the Uttarakhand Special Areas Act, from time to time, to improve the services related to the tourism system in any area.

Construction of ropeway from Auli to Gorso will lead to development of Gorso

Three kilometers from Auli is Gorson Bugyal which retains its beauty throughout the year and increases its beauty when it snows. But now after the construction of the ropeway in Gorson, sports like skiing and ice skating will be possible here as well. However, this is only suggested.

Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu said that Auli in Chamoli district is a world famous and popular skiing destination. So Auli will be developed as a skiing destination. A complete plan has been prepared for this. The work of bringing it to the ground will be done by the Auli Development Authority.
