Farmers will now get 60% subsidy on solar pumps, SC/ST will get special concessions, benefits like

There is a good news from the agriculture department for the farmers working in agriculture sector. 60 percent subsidy is now payable for installation of solar pump sets under PM Kusum Component B administered by Horticulture Department, Bhilwara. Under this scheme, the state government will provide an additional concession of Rs 45 thousand to SC and ST category farmers, thereby benefiting the farmers.
Bhilwara District Horticulture Deputy Director Rakesh Kumar Mala said that as per instructions received from Horticulture Commissionerate, installation of Kevan 7.5 HP DC Solar Pump Set will be carried out. 7.5 In HP DC category, farmer share amount for general category farmers is Rs.2 lakh 14 thousand 638 and for SC ST category farmers, farmer share amount is Rs.1 lakh 69 thousand 638. He said that the farmers who have applied for 5 HP or other category. A farmer who wants to install in 7.5 HP DC category can change the category through e-Mitra through SSO ID or Jandhar card on Rajkisan Sathi portal.
