Hardoi A painful incident has come to light from UP’s Hardoi. After the Ganesh Mahotsav in Shahabad city, the Ganesh idol was to be dedicated, for which the dedication procession reached Piparia Bridge with much fanfare. Dedication ceremony of Ganesha idol was going on at Piparia Bridge in Shahabad Kotyali area. Children were also present during the vigil and four children were bitten one by one while standing on the railings watching the vigil leading to chaos and stampede.
Four teenagers were bitten by a snake while standing on the Piparia ghat bridge, going to take part in Ganesh Bisarjan Yatra at Shahabad in Hardoi. If the condition worsens, the juveniles are immediately admitted to the CHC and are declared out of danger. A devotional procession was taken out to celebrate Ganesh Mohotsav at Ram Bhatika in Shahabad Kotwali area on Saturday.
During Bisarjan Yatra, a large number of devotees went to Pipariya Ghat to abdicate idols, people stood on the bridge holding railings, while Adarsh Rathore, 12-year-old son Amar Singh, Parth, 13-year-old son Pankaj, resident of Barua Bazar, Councilor 16-year-old son Bharti, Mohalla Anshu, son of Sanjay, a resident of Chak, was bitten by a snake while sitting inside a pipe.
Four teenagers have not been found. When he began to feel dizzy, the people with him shook the pipe, and a snake came out of it. As their condition deteriorated, the four teenagers were admitted to Shahbad CHC, where they are undergoing treatment. The doctor said that now all the four teenagers are out of danger. The emergency medical officer of Shahabad Community Health Center said that the children have been treated and their condition is now stable.
