The elephant is considered a symbol of prosperity and wisdom, in which case Mother Durga will bring happiness and prosperity with her. Speaking to News 18 Local, Pandit Shambhu Nath Choubey, senior priest of Uttarakhand’s Udham Singh Nagar district, said that according to Panchang, this year Sharadiya Navratri will begin on Monday, October 15, 2023, and it will end on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. This year, on the first day of Sharadiya Navratri, Maa Durga will come riding on an elephant, which is an auspicious sign. And will ride back on the chicken’s back. Riding on a chicken is not a good sign.

He said that on the first day of Shardia Navratri, there will be a lot of benefits if the Kalash is placed from 11:44 AM to 12:30 PM during the Brahma Muhurta and Abhijit moments. To be done after 06:27 PM on 24 October 2023.
