MP Govt: 40 thousand dollar scholarship scheme for higher education abroad
Rahul Dave/Indore: The Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of Madhya Pradesh provides all possible assistance to meritorious students to ensure that they do not face financial problems in their education. The government supports such students at every step from school education to higher education. The government has a scheme in which scholarships of $40,000 per year are given for studying abroad.
Scheme rules
Under this scheme, arrangements are made by the government to send meritorious students from general and unreserved classes abroad for higher education. Students will be selected on the basis of merit. Each year 20 students will be awarded scholarships to study abroad. For this he will be given a scholarship of 40 thousand dollars.
This qualification is required
The government has made some provisions for this. Income tax is not payable on family income. Applicants selected to study abroad should not have an annual income of more than 8 lakh rupees from all sources. The maximum age of the applicant should be 25 years for admission in Master’s level and 35 years for PhD research degree.
Scholarship Scheme Duration
Under this scheme, 10 scholarships for January to June session and 10 scholarships for July to December session are sanctioned every year for participation in postgraduate level courses/research degrees and specifically post-research degree programmes. the field Under the scholarship scheme, financial assistance will be provided for two years for Masters and PhD degrees.
Eligibility rules for students
For Master’s degree, the applicant will be eligible to study as per rules after passing the course/professional course conducted by traditional/self-financing scheme from any recognized University/College, Institute of Madhya Pradesh and country and selected from prescribed. Universities abroad.
Important rules for research
For PhD research degree, 60 percent marks in Post Graduate in relevant subject and two years study experience/MPhil degree in relevant subject from any recognized University/Government College in Madhya Pradesh is mandatory.

Under the scholarship scheme, selected students will be awarded actual expenses or maximum annual expenses of USD 38 thousand and USD 2 thousand (for books, necessary equipment, typing, dissertation and other works), totaling USD 40 thousand or its equivalent from other countries. Currency will be payable. The applicant has to give a bond of this entire amount.
