Nalanda is the overall champion after defeating Patna, know how many medals are up for grabs

Girls from 15 districts of the state showcased their talent in a state level school karate sports competition organized jointly by the Bihar State Sports Authority, Patna and Vaishali district administrations. A karate competition was organized here for girls in U-14, U-17 and U-19 age groups. The successful participants were felicitated with medals by Mahua MLA Dr. Mukesh Roshan, District Sports Officer cum Senior Deputy Collector Rajeev Kumar and other guests present as the chief guest. He wished the players a bright future.
Nalanda received the winner’s trophy in U-14 and U-17
Nalanda players have performed well in state level karate competitions. Nalanda players bagged the winner’s trophy in the U-14 and U-17 age groups and were crowned overall champions. In Under-14, Nalanda players bagged three gold, one silver and one bronze medals, while Bhagalpur was the runner-up. Bhagalpur district players won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals. In U-17 too, Nalanda players bagged four gold medals, while Patna finished runners-up and bagged three gold and one bronze medal.
Patna won the U-19 trophy
Patna bagged the winner’s trophy in the U-19 age group. Patna players won a total of 6 medals including four gold and two silver in this age group. Nalanda finished runner-up, bagging a total of five medals, including two gold and two silver. Nalanda was declared the overall champion with a total of 9 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the competition, while Patna was declared the runner-up with 8 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.
