New Delhi. India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra once again prepared to hoist India’s flag at the Olympics. The ace player won the gold medal in the javelin throw event at the Athletics Federation Cup 2024. He achieved this feat by throwing 82.27 meters in the ongoing Fed Cup in Bhubaneswar. He defeated DP Manu to win the gold medal.

India’s Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra performed brilliantly in the 27th National Federation Cup and bagged yet another gold. Playing at home after three years, the star athlete won the gold with a best throw of 82.27 meters. This is a happy news for Neeraj and the country ahead of Paris Olympics 2024. Neeraj was seen playing very carefully in this event. Worried about his injuries before the Olympics, he was cautious.

After the Diamond League, Asian Games silver medalist Kishore Jinnah could not do anything special. Even after six attempts, he could not throw the javelin more than 80 meters. 24-year-old Manu impressed DP a lot and was seen competing with Neeraj. After the first round, DP Manu overtook star athlete Neeraj with a javelin throw of 82.06m.

In the third round, DP Manu threw 81.43m while Neeraj Chopra managed 81.29. In the fourth round, Neeraj Chopra went another 82.27m. In this round, DP Manu could only manage a distance of 81.47m.
