Now girls will also work along with studies, BBA in Retail Operations course has been launched

Part Kumar Mathur/Bareli. BBA in Retail Operations course launched at Sahu Ramswaroop Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bareilly. Students enrolled in this new course will have the opportunity to ‘learn with earn’ i.e. study along with income. This course is presented by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with the Skill Council of India, an organization of Indian retailers. Nowadays this course is seen as a golden opportunity for students.

Dr. Pragya Rawat, Head of Department of Commerce, Sahu Ramswaroop Women’s College, said that the course is a 3-year apprenticeship embedded degree program. Students of any stream can take admission in it. Intermediate pass is the minimum qualification for admission in this course in 6 semesters. This course is designed in such a way that along with studies, students can also earn by doing internships. Students will receive hybrid curriculum and blended learning as well as on the job training (OGT). Apart from the OGT, students doing this course will also get a training stipend, which will be paid to them every month. This stipend will start from ₹ 7 thousand. Apart from this, he said, after the completion of the course, eligible students will also be given placement which will be at the supervisor level.

Total 60 seats in this course

MJP Rohilkhand University has selected Sahu Ramswaroop Mahila Mahavidyalaya for skill development courses under NIRF ranking through CRIPS. Total 60 seats are allotted in BBA in Retail Operations course in this college. In which classes will be held for three days. Meanwhile, as per the course requirements, the students will go to the retail store for internship for the next three days. The fee for this course is Rs 21 thousand per year. Students can also deposit in installments.
