Stock market today: Stock markets in chaos, fall for fourth consecutive day, Sensex slips 221 points

New Delhi. On Friday, the domestic stock market was once again chaotic. This was the fourth trading session in a row when the market fell. At the close of trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 221.09 points or 0.33 percent at 66,009.15. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed down 69 points or 0.34 percent at 19674.30.

At the close of trade on the last trading day, the Sensex closed down 570.60 points or 0.85 percent at 66,230.24. Whereas the Nifty closed down 159.10 points or 0.80 percent at 19742.30.
