Abhaypur railway station of Bhagalpur-Keul rail section under Malda division did not have stoppage of some major trains. Local residents have been demanding the stoppage of trains for many years. However, in view of the demands of the people, the Railways has announced to stop two trains at Abhaypur railway station in Lakhisarai district. It will make it easier for the people of Abhaypur to go to Patna and Muzaffarpur.

These trains will stop

For the convenience of passengers, Railways has introduced train number 13415 Malda Town-Patna Intercity Express which leaves Malda at the scheduled time of 8:15. It will stop at Abhaypur station from 25th September. On the return journey, train number 13416 Patna-Malda Town Express, which leaves Patna at 10 pm, will also stop at Abhaypur station at its scheduled time. Same train number – 13420 Muzaffarpur-Bhagalpur Janseva Express which leaves Muzaffarpur at 11:05 AM.

It runs through Dholi, Samastipur, Dalsinghasrai, Bachwara, Barauni, Lakshisrai, Keul. It will stop at Abhaypur station from September 25. On the return journey, train number 13419 Bhagalpur-Muzaffarpur Janseva Express which leaves Bhagalpur at 2:10 p.m. It will reach Abhaypur station at 3:45 pm via Akbarnagar, Sultanganj, Barrierpur, Jamalpur and leave after two minutes.
