UPSC Recruitment 2023: Good chance to get a govt job, 21 years old should apply
New Delhi. UPSC Recruitment 2023, UPSC Geo-Scientist Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for many posts for candidates preparing for government jobs. Application process for this is going on. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the Commission’s official website upsconline.nic.in. Application deadline is 10 October 2023. A total of 56 posts will be filled through this recruitment process. Candidates with post graduate degree in related subject can apply for these posts.
We tell you that UPSC has already issued a detailed notification for Combined Geo-Scientist Preliminary Examination 2024 (CGSE 2024) on its official website. As per the notification, candidates can apply for various posts including Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist Group A. Selected candidates are selected for Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines and Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Power and Central Government Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
UPSC Recruitment 2023, selection process
Candidates who applied will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination, main examination, interview and document verification. The preliminary examination will be held on February 18, 2024. Successful candidates will attend the Mains Examination on June 22, 2024.
UPSC Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
General category candidates have to pay Rs.200 as application fee. Where SC, ST, Disabled and Female applicants are exempted from application fee.

UPSC Recruitment 2023, Age range
Candidates age will be calculated as on 1st January, 2024. Minimum age of candidates should be 21 years. Upper age limit for application is fixed at 32 years. There is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
