2 more accused in Mahendragarh bus accident caught by police, shocking information

Chandigarh Two more people have been arrested in connection with the school bus accident in Haryana’s Mahendragarh district. The police informed this information. Six students were killed and around 20 injured when a bus carrying school children hit a tree and overturned in Mahendragarh district on Thursday.

Mahendragarh police said the two allegedly drank with the driver inside the school bus before going to pick up the children. According to the police, the bus driver Dharmendra was intoxicated and was driving fast, due to which he lost control of the vehicle, leading to the accident near Unhani village of Kanina in Mahendragarh district around 8.30 am on Thursday.

Police investigation revealed that the school bus driver had consumed alcohol on the bus with his companions. After that he reached GL Public School to pick up the children. Police said two of his accomplices, Nittu alias Harish and Sandeep, residents of Sehlong, have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act and were arrested on Saturday.

The police said that they have taken immediate action in the matter and registered a case against the accused. On the day of the incident, three accused including the driver and the headmaster of the school were arrested. Police said the three arrested on Thursday were produced in court on Saturday and sent to five-day police custody.
