Death of rescued leopard, attack on forest department team

Indore. A leopard rescued from Mahur Janpav area near Indore in Madhya Pradesh has died. The forest department team found the leopard, which is about 8 years old, injured. During the rescue, the leopard also attacked a forest worker of the rescue team. It was later tranquilized and brought to the Kamala Nehru Zoological Museum, Indore. Dr. in charge here. Uttam Yadav confirmed the death of the leopard after investigation. The leopard, which was spreading terror in Manpur and Janpav areas for the past three days, finally died.
In fact, the forest department received information that a leopard was sitting injured near the Panchmukhi Hanuman temple below the Janpav hill. This leopard was seen walking with a limp. He injured a forest worker named Sohan Lal Dashoria when the rescue team of the forest department tried to rescue him. Later, the forest department team rescued the leopard and brought it to the Kamala Nehru Zoological Museum in Indore. After an investigation here, zoo in-charge Dr. Uttam Yadav confirmed the death of the leopard.
The leopard was injured
Ralamandal rescue team in-charge Yohan Katara also said that the leopard was injured and had serious injuries on its legs. A large part of his body was decomposed. He also had bugs on his feet. In-charge of Indore Zoo, Dr. Uttam Yadav said, besides the legs of the leopard, it has serious wounds on its chest. There was also pus in it.

Apart from this, two legs have been attacked by insects due to rotting. It is believed that the leopard died from this injury. Now as per protocol, the leopard will be post mortem which will also be videographed and then cremated. We inform you that this leopard has been active in the entire area for the past several days and has been seen roaming continuously in many places. Due to this there is panic in the whole area.
