IET to give Rs 3 lakh scholarship to engineering students, solve 50 questions, apply till May 31

Koderma (Jharkhand): This is a golden opportunity for students studying engineering from any recognized educational institution of the country to get a scholarship of Rs.3 lakh. The scholarship program is offered by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). Under this program, students of undergraduate engineering programs from institutions recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) can apply.

The second phase will consist of 50 multiple choice questions
The last date to apply for the scholarship is 31 May 2024. To get the scholarship amount, candidates have to go through four steps. In the first step students have to apply online. After that it will be reviewed. Out of which 52% weightage will be given to academic performance, 20% to extra-curricular activities, 13% to professional and 15% to students who are members of Institute of Engineering and Technology. After that, in the second phase, the online test will be conducted at the all-India level, in which 50 multiple-choice questions will be asked on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science. 30 best scoring students will be selected for regional level.

3 lakh to the winner, 1 lakh 70 thousand to the runner-up
In the third phase of the scholarship examination, jurors will seek advice on solutions to important social problems according to the region. Students will be given 10 days to prepare it. The suggestions will then be presented in front of the jury members in the main cities of the region. The winners of this round will enter the final and fourth national finals. Based on the group discussion here, the IET Scholarship Award 2024 will be announced on 2 September 2024. The winner will be given a scholarship of 3 lakh rupees. The first runner-up will get Rs 1 lakh 70 thousand, the second runner-up will get Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand and the winner of the regional round will get Rs 60 thousand and the runner-up will get Rs 40 thousand.
