New Delhi. Hero Lectro, a major company in the electric bicycle segment, recently launched two new e-cycles in the Indian market – H4 and H7+. These latest models are designed keeping in mind the specific needs of Indian customers, they will offer a combination of style and function. The H4 starts at Rs 32,499 and is offered in Mystic Purple and Distance Red color options. Whereas the price of H7+ is slightly higher i.e. Rs 33,499. It has been launched in Lava Red and Storm Yellow Gray color options.

Both models are engineered to redefine the concept of short-distance travel. It has a removable battery with a capacity of 7.8Ah. It will give a range of around 40 km on a single charge. It will take 4.5 hours to fully charge.

The key ignition system is integrated here for safety. This will provide an additional layer of security to the users. The H4 model is an affordable option for small town dwellers. This saves up to Rs 40,000 per year on travel expenses It has a versatile unisex frame, so it’s suitable for riders of all ages.

The H7+, on the other hand, is designed for urban commuters, capable of reducing CO2 emissions by around 800 kg per year compared to conventional vehicles and becoming a pollution-free option. In addition, both electric bicycles are equipped with 250W BLDC electric motors with a maximum speed of 25 km/h. This is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance.

For comfort and safety, these include LED displays, cushioned seats, chain guards, disc brakes and anti-skid pedals with reflectors. Specifically, the H7+ features front suspension for a smooth ride on various terrains, backed by MTB tires for better grip.
