New Delhi. A 32-year-old woman in Maharashtra’s Thane district has filed a police complaint against her husband for cheating and cruelty. The woman alleged that her husband did not tell her before the marriage that she was undergoing treatment for impotence. Only seven months have passed since the marriage. An official of Pune’s Kharakpada police station said that the woman in her complaint said that sometime after the marriage, she received her 40-year-old husband’s medical records, which revealed that he had been undergoing treatment for impotence for a long time. The woman said in her complaint that when her husband was asked about it, he admitted that he was undergoing treatment for impotence even before marriage. Based on the complaint, a case was registered on Friday against the woman’s husband under sections 420 (cheating) and 498A (cruelty) of the Indian Penal Code, police said. The matter is being further investigated.

The woman cheated 2.97 crore rupees
In another case, a case of duping a 42-year-old woman and others of Rs 2.97 crore from Navi Mumbai by promising high returns in various investment schemes has come to light. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against nine people. An official of Sanpada police station said that the accused invested the money of the woman and other victims in shares and also acquired immovable property in the last three years but failed to provide any benefits to the victims or return the invested money. A woman resident of Seawoods area of ​​Navi Mumbai township filed a complaint with the police on Sunday.

A case was registered based on the complaint
Based on the complaint, the police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Prize Cheats and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act and Maharashtra Protection of Interests of Depositors (Financial Institutions). ) law.
