Railway police on alert if AK 47 found in train passenger, Railway SP formed special team, gave special message to passengers

Muzaffarpur, the railway police are on high alert following the smuggling of AK 47 guns. These weapons were being smuggled in pieces by train. As there is a border with Nepal, the police are more vigilant to prevent smuggling from across the border. The accused are currently being interrogated.

The railway police is gearing up to crack down on criminals who treat train routes as safe zones. After the recent arrest of three youths with weapons, it is known that the miscreants are considering the train as a safe area. But the railway police is ready to tell them that they will not be spared if they commit any crime on the train.

Smuggling on trains
Recently smuggling of deadly weapons like AK 47 was caught in train. The railway police was then alerted. The Railway Police has learned that consignments of weapons from Bihar’s bordering states UP, Bengal, Jharkhand and neighboring Nepal are reaching various districts of Bihar. In view of this, a special checking operation has been started at stations, platforms and trains through hand handling scanners.

Appeal to passengers
Railway Zone Muzaffarpur SP Dr Kumar Ashish told Local 18 Bihar that such an incident has happened for the first time. A separate special team with GRP and RPF is continuously working in this direction. Apart from the border areas of Nepal, special attention is being kept on the Bihar border. The Railway SP appealed to the passengers traveling in the train to immediately inform their nearest GRP or RPF jawan or station if they see any suspicious person or any crime being committed. Railway police will take timely action. He will be identified. Also, everyone be careful. Keep an eye on your surroundings and cooperate with the police and administration.
