Son’s brutality with indebted father after daughter’s marriage, property scam, referral to medical college

Gopalganj An elderly father was seriously injured after his son was stabbed in a property dispute. The incident took place in Ushari village of Baikunthapur police station. The old farmer bleeding from the knife was admitted to the Sadar Hospital for treatment, where his condition was critical and he was referred to the Medical College for better treatment. Meanwhile, the accused boy is absconding since the incident. Police are interrogating the injured and are busy with the investigation.

Badhi Sahani was working as a laborer in Usri village of Baikunthpur police station. My daughter got married a few months ago. After the daughter’s marriage, the father became in debt. Mala Devi, wife of the injured Badhi Sahani, said her son paid some money for the marriage, for which the land was divided.

Here was drinking and abusing father for days and demanding the property kept by old parents for living. If people protested, they would beat them. On Monday, the son seriously injured his elderly father by stabbing him with a knife.

With the help of neighbors, Badhi Sahani was taken to a local hospital for treatment, from where she was shifted to Sadar Hospital. Meanwhile, the incident was reported to the police. The police have registered an FIR in the matter and said they will take action. At the same time, elderly parents were also injured in this incident.
