This time some big changes are going to happen in the convocation ceremony. The first change is that this year’s convocation ceremony will be held at the old convocation ground instead of Gandhi Auditorium.

In fact, convocations were being held at Gandhi Auditorium for several years. Due to this, most of the students and teachers could not participate in this program. Keeping that in mind, this year’s event will be held at the old venue Dikshant Field.

Scientists associated with Chandrayaan-3 will receive honorary degrees
The second major change is that after a long time one will be awarded an honorary degree from Bundelkhand University. Bundelkhand University is going to offer this degree after almost a decade. This time, this honorary degree will be given to Nilesh M., Director of Ahmedabad Center of ISRO. Desai. Nilesh Desai is also associated with the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Nilesh Desai contributed to the development of many critical components of Chandrayaan-3’s rover and lander. To honor his contribution, Bundelkhand University is awarding him an honorary degree.

Many great personalities have received this title
Bundelkhand University has already awarded honorary degrees to many. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan to Rambilas Paswan have been awarded this honorary degree. This title was not given for the last few years. Bundelkhand University Vice-Chancellor Professor Mukesh Pandey said that the whole of India is proud of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Conferring this honorary degree on Nilesh Desai associated with this important mission is a matter of pride for the entire university family.
